Dexter never lets me down, and somehow going into its fifth season is only getting better. We’ve been reporting on all the awesome new additions to the cast this season, like Julia Stiles, Shawn Hatosy, and Peter Weller, but now we have another.

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is shaping up to be a pretty interesting superhero flick, with some very interesting casting choices. One of those previously-announced casting choices (that was already absolutely sublime) has actually gotten even better.

Kristen Bell is the definition of gorgeous, but she is what I like to call a “twofer.” Not only is she extremely attractive, but she is a very good and endlessly adorable actress. No matter the role she is in, she can bring both the charm and intensity that is needed. Now she plans to bring that to a little indie black Comedy called DANCE WITH THE MIRLITONS.
Bell is set to play the mother of a young overweight girl, who enrolls her in dance classes, most likely to help her lose weight. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has blown up since his portrayal of The Comedian in WATCHMEN; it most likely even led to his starring role in THE LOSERS earlier this year. THE TOWN is probably one of my most anticipated upcoming films, both off its incredible star power and Ben Affleck’s direction. Crime dramas are easily my favorite genre, and THE TOWN gives me a DEPARTED vibe in all the best ways.

THE AVENGERS is probably the biggest film event of the year (well, of 2012). It truly is the definition of event cinema, and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by a lot of filmmakers. It’s almost hard to believe that it is really happening, especially to a Marvel fanatic like myself.

We’ve known about the return of MAD MAX for a good while now, although they’ve done a pretty good job at keeping any significant details under wraps. We know that Tom Hardy will be taking over the titular role of Max, and that the film will be shot in 3D.
