THIS IS 40 poster shows off the married life

Judd Apatow is finally returning to the big screen, after FUNNY PEOPLE didn’t really hit the way many expected. Now he is going back to the well in a very Kevin Smith-like move, and making a sort-of sequel to KNOCKED UP called THIS IS 40. In true Apatow fashion, it looks like it will be a hilarious, yet real, look into a married couple going over the hill. You can check out the trailer here.

Now there is a new poster to feast our eyes on. It’s quite funny, and gives a pretty real look into what married life can be like. Continue reading “THIS IS 40 poster shows off the married life”

Bond’s next big adventure is quickly approaching, and before we know it, we’ll see exactly what Sam Mendes’ vision for the franchise is. It really is a big deal. DAREDEVIL reboot dares a new writer

The Man Without Fear is on his way to the big screen again, as Fox is working on a reboot of the series.

Though the reboot has been in the works for a while now, it seems to have made little headway toward completion. Everyone expected that once they signed David Slade, director of HARD CANDY and TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, this film would be racing toward moviegoers.

This has proven to be an incorrect assumption, and Fox has hired David James Kelly to do a rewrite.

Trailer for THIS IS FORTY proves this looks good

Judd Apatow is a major force in Hollywood comedy. After THE 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN proved to be a huge success it gave him a platform to produce even more pictures, most of which also end up as quite successful. That hasn’t stopped him from maintaining his writer/director aspirations, and he is currently working on a sort-of-sequel to KNOCKED UP called THIS IS FORTY.

Now there is a trailer out for the film, which you can check out after the break.

Laura Ramsey locates herself in Matthew Weiner's YOU ARE HERE

After having many struggles on it’s way to production, it seems that Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner’s feature film debut is finally making it’s way to reality. In fact, this is actually it’s third incarnation in the past couple of years, and seemingly it’s strongest yet.

Now we can add Laura Ramsey to the likes of Zach Galifianakis, Amy Poehler, and Owen Wilson to the film.

THE POLTERGEIST remake is being produced by Sam Raimi

THE POLTERGEIST is a film that came just before my time, but in my circle of friends was built up like a legend. We talked about it in the same way that many people talk about THE EXORCIST. We all ended up watching it, and it certainly spooked us out.

Now the film is looking to do the same to a new generation of movie-goer. Last time Steven Spielberg was on as producer, this time we have Sam Raimi.

Ehren Kruger joins forces with the Autobots on TRANSFORMERS 4; Shia LeBeouf does not

The TRANSFORMERS franchise has been a good time for our robots in disguise, although many would argue that they haven’t been more than meets the eye. That hasn’t stopped people from going to their local cinemas and flooding the box-office with their dollars. There is no stopping this franchise, making it no surprise that a fourth film is being produced, with Michael Bay once again at the helm.

The film has some major fuel in it’s fire, as the the writer of the last two films, Ehren Kruger, is returning to his post. The same can’t be said about the star of the original three films, as Shia LeBeouf is definitely out.

47 RONIN pushed back to 2013

In almost any form of media in which Samurais appear, they would never be caught retreating from battle. They live on a code of honor, one in which death is a better option than retreat. 47 RONIN, an upcoming movie about Samurai, doesn’t hold the same code of honor.

The film has been pushed back from it’s ambiguous November release, to a more solid February 28th, 2013 date.
