The fate of ANCHORMAN 2 has been pretty crazy for the past several months, with off and on rumors running amok. That is, until Paramount took their stance with a resounding no. Although the cast and crew still seemed to have high hopes, it even seems that Adam McKay has lost all hope and interest in the project. But that might not stop them from bringing another of their popular films into sequel-land.

Last month, we caught wind that Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who are best known for directing the CRANK films, were most likely on board to direct the next GHOST RIDER flick. We also had a pretty good idea that Nicolas Cage would be reprising his role as Johnny Blaze in the film, and now we can definitely confirm that both bits of news are completely true. It can be really sad whenever a great actor falls by the wayside, dipping into obscurity. Especially when said actor had as much impact as Haley Joel Osment did when he was just a young kid. Although he hasn’t lived up to his PAY IT FORWARD or THE SIXTH SENSE performances from his childhood, it would be great to see him come back.

I really haven’t a clue if AMC can do any bad with The Walking Dead, so far everything they’ve done has been spot-on. From the look of the zombies to the straight-out-of-the-book appearance of Rick, they seem to be taking the project a lot more seriously than many other channels would. Now we have an awesome poster to satiate our appetites until the premiere.

John Hawkes is an actor that most people most likely recognize from films they have seen, but they might not know his name off the top of their heads. This is a shame, because Hawkes is a damn fine actor. If you need proof, look no further than ME AND YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW, where he successfully leads an ensemble cast into greatness.

We all know that Bruce Willis is the embodiment of bad-ass, and you’re more than welcome to look at his filmography as proof. Sometimes, it can be hard to separate him from that persona that he has built for himself. Although this new character poster from the upcoming film RED might not be doing him any favors in that regard, that doesn’t stop it from being pretty cool.
