Ever since THE LONE RANGER remake was announced, starring Johnny Depp as Tonto instead of The Lone Ranger, I’ve had a hard time finding myself excited about the film. There’s nothing really wrong with the project, but there also have not been any other ideas thrown out there that I found exciting.

Oliver Stone is notorious force in the film industry. He consistently brings quality films to the table, and receives critical acclaim almost universally. Now he’s coming back for his first true sequel – WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS – which brings Gordon Gekko back from prison to rekindle his relationship with his daughter, and possibly make some dough while he’s at it.

Although news of Mark Ruffalo playing The Hulk in the upcoming superhero team-up THE AVENGERS was at first a little disheartening, he is quickly earning our hearts and trust with the role. Every news bit that comes out about the film makes it seem as though they’re on the right track, and this news certainly follows that trend.

Emma Stone has been stealing our hearts in almost everything she’s done since she exploded on the scene in SUPERBAD. Her career has been blossoming non-stop since then, and her most recent flick, EASY A, has proven to be a hit.

We just recently found out that Carla Gugino would be starring in the not so kid friendly film MILF (MOTHERS I’D LIKE TO FIGHT), and now it looks like she is wanting to balance that out with a family film. Leslie Mann is an actress that I can remember watching throughout most of the nineties, although usually not in leading roles. In fact, it wasn’t until Judd Apatow started directing his own features that I really took notice of her talent.

My love for the GODZILLA franchise goes back to when I was a very young child and I saw KING KONG VS. GODZILLA for the first time. After that, GODZILLA became my number one interest, and I had to have every toy and every movie I could get my hands on. That hasn’t changed to this day.
This is exactly why the prospect of Legendary taking over the reins and bringing him back for the first time since 2004’s awesomely epic GODZILLA FINAL WARS was very alluring. Oh, how the tides have finally turned! After years of American studios remaking Japanese horror films, usually to mediocre praise, Japan is going to have their turn. A Japanese studio is planning on making a direct sequel to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY that will take place in Japan.
