The TOTAL RECALL remake is on its way, and people are really starting to get excited about its potential. The trailer was a big surprise, and a good one at that, giving us a pretty good idea of the tone, look, and story of the new and improved RECALL. Although we’re getting a few looks at the film, it seems like the studio is still trying to keep it under wraps.
Although the story is being kept a secret, they definitely want us to know how good the film looks, and this new image (above) looks to be taken from a fairly major action scene.
The remake stars Colin Farrell as Quaid, originally played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, with Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale as the supporting cast. Len Wiseman, husband and frequent collaborator to Beckinsale is in the directors chair, and seems to be a good fit. Although he misses the mark at times, his style works quite well with TOTAL RECALL.
TOTAL RECALL is set to be released August 3rd. Will the film recall the original film too much, or will it be something more original?
