New production diary for THE HOBBIT shows off New Zealand and more

I’m not sure I’ve ever wanted to move as badly as I do now, all thanks to the new HOBBIT video production diary. This time, the focus is all put on New Zealand, the place that made LORD OF THE RINGS possible, and is now providing the same service to the prequel. Not only is it the homeland of the filmmaker behind the series, Peter Jackson, it’s lush and beautiful landscape makes for a surprisingly convincing Middle Earth.

For the longest time, I was avoiding these video production diaries at all costs, as a way to not spoil any of the magic behind the production. I’d much rather see the full film before digging into the production angle. However, in the vein of the massive amount of great behind the scenes features of the original trilogy, these are just too great to pass up. As soon as I watched the first HOBBIT production diary, I was completely hooked. I certainly suggest checking them out.

You can check out the new one below in standard definition or you can hit up Facebook for the HD version. You can also find the rest with a simple youtube search. You won’t regret it.
