SUPER 8 is easily one of the most anticipated films of the year for just about everyone. Not only is it produced by Steven Spielberg, but it is being directed by J.J. Abrams, arguably one of the best filmmakers out there right now. Although SUPER 8 has been under wraps for a good while now, more is becoming known about it due to its impending release. That being said, you need to watch the new clip (along with that new image up top) they’ve released to build up anticipation.
In the words of the kid in the clip, “Oh, my God.”

The production value of the film is absolutely insane, and this clip shows that we are in for one hell of a ride. The Spielberg influence is definitely there – more aptly, it just feels like one of his films. Yet, there are plenty of lens flares to keep all the Abrams fans at bay.
The release of SUPER 8 is coming up quick. If you liked the clip, you can see the rest upon its release on June 10.
