Clint Eastwood’s J. EDGAR is quickly turning into a highly anticipated project, partly because the director being so high profile, but mostly because of Leonardo DiCaprio and the rest of the knockout cast. The cast is always growing, with people being added almost every day. Just two days ago, we got word about Jeffrey Donovan being added to the cast. Today, we’ve gotten another.
Miles Fisher, who will soon be appearing in FINAL DESTINATION 5, has been cast in J. EDGAR.
Fisher will be taking up the role of Agent Garrison, a member of the FBI who interviews J. Edgar Hoover throughout the course of the film. It’s cool to see him get a role like this, it could really be big for him. If he owns his role and knocks it out of the park, we could see him a lot more frequently.
With the cast turning out like this, it’s hard not to be excited about J. EDGAR. Eastwood always does well with dramas such as this, and the prospect of him doing a historical one seems perfect. That, coupled with how well DiCaprio handles films like this, means this could be one of the best films in the forthcoming future.
