The Farrelly Brothers let us in on THE THREE STOOGES details

The Farrelly Brothers have been working toward a THREE STOOGES feature for a pretty good while now, with a projected cast members constantly dropping in and out. Unfortunately, we are still unsure about who will be taking up the roles of Moe, Larry, and Curly, but we are getting a little update on what we can expect from the film.

Hit the break to check it out!

This quote comes directly from the Farrellys themselves:

“This isn’t a Farrelly version of The Three Stooges. This is The Three Stooges. And, it’s not a biopic, by the way. We’ve written three new episodes. The movie is actually three episodes that go back to back to back. Each one picks up where the other one left off. We want you to look at it and say, “It’s Mo, Larry and Curly!,” so we have very high standards on this route.”

We had heard that the film might not be a biopic previously, it’s cool to see that they are working on some sort of bigger concept. Imagine, if this style works out, maybe we could get more films in the vein of this one. It could be like a revival of sorts for the classic style of cinema. This could help those who might be worried that classic cinema might get lost in time breathe easier.

The Farrellys are apparently interested in some of the actors who have auditioned, but we are still waiting on a concrete cast for the film. Regardless, it seems like they are working towards making a THREE STOOGES movie that would be worth our time.
