The opening of SCREAM 4 is right around the corner, and before we know it we’ll be back with Sidney and the gang in Woodsboro. Little has been known about the upcoming sequel, aside from some very basic facts.
With a test screening approaching, it was about time that a synopsis should be revealed. Unfortnately, that synopsis doesn’t really have much to say, but it’s good to have nonetheless. You can check out the full synopsis after the break.
“Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courtney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.”
Although this is mostly information we already knew or figured, it’s still really nice to see it in print. It’s sometimes hard to believe that SCREAM 4 is actually happening, but this makes that reality even more apparent.
