Mark Wahlberg is one of those actors who will take up a role that can gain him much critical acclaim, and then immediately follow it up with something like MAX PAYNE. That seems exactly to be in line with how almost everyone felt about the possibility of his joining THE CROW remake, which he was rumored to take the lead role in. That was, until recently.

“We never committed to making the movie…They talked to me about it and there was a director attached who I was a fan of, and he’s no longer doing it. We just thought about it – ‘is there something cool to be done there?’ But we’re not committed to making the movie.”
It’s good to see that he is being choosy about his roles, as when he doesn’t, something like TEH HAPPENING, well, happens. Wahlberg is a very talented actor, and with THE FIGHTER coming out soon, he again proves his talent.
Now the real question is, who will end up in the role now that Wahlberg has passed? Do you guys have any ideas who could take up the role?
