For those of you who haven’t been following along with the buzz that came out of this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, RABBIT HOLE is the latest film by John Cameron Mitchell, the unforgettable director of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH and SHORTBUS. RABBIT HOLE is based off a Pulitzer award winning play written by David Lindsay-Abaire.
The film has a new poster, which you can see after the break!
The poster is really smart and says a lot while showing very little. It certainly gets the mood of the film spot on. This poster is perfect proof that you don’t need to be extremely flashy to send a message and get a point across. For a film like RABBIT HOLE, there couldn’t be a better poster.
I’ve seen the stage version of RABBIT HOLE, and it was one of the most heart wrenching stories I’ve seen on stage. Thus, it seemed like a really odd fit for Mitchell, until I saw this trailer. Now I have every confidence that RABBIT HOLE will be an outstanding film.
Mitchell even makes Nicole Kidman look good in this film, bravo.
