Pitch for movie about Acme Warehouse picked up by WB

I’ve never kept my love for all things Looney Tunes a secret, in fact I can remember being quite vocal about it in the recent past. Recently, WB has brought back their famous franchise as a series of shorts, and now they want to bank off the series.

Warner Bros. has picked up a pitch for a film about the company that provides all the zany weapons to the characters, Acme. Check out the details after the break.

The film will be a CG live-action hybrid film, that will not actually have any of the Looney Tunes characters in it, despite the source material. This can lead us to believe that the film will have live-action characters with wacky, ridiculous weapons and inventions that the company makes.

I find this prospect insanely inventive, creative, and original. It is certainly the kind of film we have been waiting for from the franchise. It has the potential to bring the fun and creativity of ROGER RABBIT, yet be its own film. Not to mention the potential it has to reinvigorate interest in the Looney Tunes even more than it has been as of late.

What do you guys think about this idea?
