Matthew Broderick is one of those few examples of actors who were, at one point, seemingly on top of the world, but somehow never really caught on. That being said, it is always an exciting prospect when he is cast in a film, since he is more than capable of bringing a really great performance to the table. This is one of those examples.
Broderick has joined the amazing cast of Brett Ratner’s film, TOWER HEIST. Check out the description of his character after the break!
“Chase Fitzhugh, a Wall Street guy who, like the building staff, had his finances cleaned out by the Bernie Madoff-like character played by Alda, who is under house arrest in the luxury penthouse apartment atop the building.”
Sounds like a really fitting character for Broderick to play, it fits right into the persona that he has built up in the past couple of years. We can only hope that his addition, and the rest of the cast for that matter, can make this a Brett Ratner film worth seeing. So far so good, I’m sure we’ll find out if it’s true soon enough.
