Brad Pitt is one of those actors who you can’t help but respect as an actor, even when he does films that don’t exactly…show off his thespian skill. Let’s face it, he’s the pretty boy that just so happens to be a damn fine actor. Some of the roles that Pitt is most remembered for include his more outlandish characters, something that he seems to be doing less and less these days.
Now it seems he is looking to get back to his out-there roots with a film based off the book In With The Devil.
Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, will be adapting the film for the big screen, which makes it very possible for him to take the role, if he so chooses to. The film is the story of Jimmy Keene, an ex-football player who gets caught up in dealing drugs. After being captured, he strikes a deal to help catch a serial killer by befriending him in a mental institution.
This film sounds exactly like the kind of film that Brad Pitt needs to continue doing. We’ve had a lot of really great performances from him in the past several years, but nothing that equals that of THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD. This is his chance to recapture that magic, and prove that he is still a name that we should be remembering.
