Despite what most people think of the franchise, I’m certainly a fan of the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE series, especially after the third film. With all the additions that are being made to the cast and the new direction the series looks to be going in, the prospect of another sequel seems even more exciting.
Now Lost fans have a reason to join in on the rejoicing!
Josh Holloway has joined the cast and will play an IMF agent, along with Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner. As to how involved his role will be, we currently don’t know.
We can all only hope that his role is bigger than that of Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the third film, a role that was built up to something much more than it was. It’s likely, as we already have two leading men in the film, and the cast is already pretty big.
Regardless, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4 is shaping up to be exactly what I would hope to see coming out of the series.
