Emma Stone has been stealing our hearts in almost everything she’s done since she exploded on the scene in SUPERBAD. Her career has been blossoming non-stop since then, and her most recent flick, EASY A, has proven to be a hit.
This has supposedly gotten Sony interested in her playing Mary Jane for the SPIDER-MAN reboot. If you ask me, this is perfect casting.
Not only is she a very talented actress, but she can easily pull off the Mary Jane type role. She has already proven that in SUPERBAD, she played the popular, yet down to earth hottie. That is exactly the quality that Mary Jane needs to have. The red hair isn’t hurting either.
I really like the prospect of her in the role, and along with Emma Roberts she holds the top spot for the role in my comic book fanboy eyes. We’ll see what happens, but Stone seems like a really great fit for the role.
