Although I’m a die hard promoter of both of the Affleck brothers, it’s no doubt that Casey would be considered the better of the two acting-wise. He has continually proven his talent in films like GONE BABY GONE, THE LAST KISS, and THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD.
Now, he hopes to wow us again in THE F-WORD.
THE F-WORD is an upcoming Fox Searchlight film about a man who hides his non-platonic feelings towards a friend, until he can get her to admit that she feels the same way. Since Searchlight is on board, we can only hope it is more than your standard rom-com romp, and something much deeper.
Although movies like this aren’t exactly what I usually hope to get from Casey Affleck, it is infinitely more exciting since he is involved in the first place. Hopefully his involvement is in indicator of a quality movie under the guise of something less than special.
