Larry Charles to direct Jim Carrey in PIERRE PIERRE

It isn’t hard to get into debate as to which Larry Charles film is your favorite, especially since he has only done a couple films, but many people praise him for his work on BORAT and RELIGULOUS. Now it seems that Charles is lined up to direct Jim Carrey in PIERRE PIERRE, which sounds like a return to form for Carrey.

Pierre Pierre is the story of a frenchman who many find annoying, and his quest of delivering a stolen painting from France to Britan. Carrey can be expected to provide a performance rivaling the ones that made him famous in the nineties.

Although the plot doesn’t seem all that stellar, the teaming of Carrey and Charles does not fail to excite. Charles seems like just the right person to make this otherwise average movie, something much better.

What is everyones favorite Jim Carrey movie? Do you prefer ninties Carrey or his work from the new millennium.
