Whenever Robert Rodriguez comes to mind, memories of all the great times I’ve had with his past films take precedent. At the same time, he doesn’t get into the director’s chair as often as I’d like (with R-rated films that is).
The sequel to one of his best recent films, SIN CITY 2, has long been on-and-off much to fans’ chagrin. Word is finally out on the current state of the film, and it is still on.
Currently he is interested in doing a rewrite of the script before he starts the film. This is good news, as they are making sure that everything is right so that the film doesn’t disappoint. That sort of attention can make a movie.
The other issue he is facing is finding time to make the film. I mean, the guy is insanely busy with all the producing that he does. Hopefully he can find the time, because SIN CITY 2 is infinitely more interesting than SPY KIDS 4.
