John Stamos is full of "Glee"

I think I very well might be the resident “Gleek” at GATW, as I seem to get really pumped by all of the reoccurring and cameo roles in Fox’s hit show, Glee. Time and time again, they have chosen actors to pop up, such as Neil Patrick Harris’ and his hilarious performance as Bryan Ryan. Now they have chosen another really exciting actor to bring in for the shenanigans, Uncle Jesse himself, John Stamos.

He will be playing the Dentist and love interest of Miss Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), much to the chagrin of Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison). If you were one of the whopping 10.9 million people that tuned into the the season finale (despite being on simultaneously as the NBA finals), you might have noticed they referenced the character to give him a little set-up.

The fact that I come from a show choir background makes my love for Glee come easily, but really fun casting like this certainly makes it go down even easier. This is certainly another case of the show being really smart in their casting. The only downside to this news is that they already performed “Jessie’s Girl” in the first season. Oh how meta that would have been!
