All of us at GATW have been following 30 MINUTES OR LESS every step of the way, all while trying to hone in our excitement for Ruben Fleischer’s next film. With the announcement of Aziz Ansari and Danny McBride joining the cast only further builds the excitement. Now the word is that ZOMBIELAND star Jesse Eisenberg would once again be teaming up with Fleischer for this film.
Eisenberg would be playing the part of Will, ex-best friend of Chet (Ansari) because he admitted that he had a thing for Chet’s sister. Can the two friends rekindle their friendship when Will is sent into a bank with a homemade bomb strapped to him by idiot criminals (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson)?
I adored ZOMBIELAND, and Fleischer proved his competency as a director of a comedy-action film. 30 MINUTES OR LESS seems like a great next step for him to take, and having Eisenberg join him once again seems like a formula for success. The film is expected to be released August 20th, 2011.
