The onslaught of promotion behind THE LAST AIRBENDER is pretty insane, as it looks as if the marketing team behind the film are doing everything in their power to tease us into oblivion. This is good for them, because it is working beautifully. Further proof of this are these two brand new character posters that show off what we want to see most, element-bending.

It’s really cool how they are playing up the relationship between the main protagonist Aang, and the main antagonist Zuko. This is especially interesting with Zuko, because his character is a lot deeper than your average villain. This is something that I hope is explored, possibly in a sequel.
THE LAST AIRBENDER’s release date is just under two months away, and is growing into one of the most anticipated films of this summer season. It will bend Air, Water, Earth, and Fire in 3D on July 2.
