Most would agree that Bryan Singer’s tenure on the X-MEN franchise was a resounding hit, and conversely, his take on the SUPERMAN franchise is seen as a miss. This made it much more disheartening when he decided to only produce X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and direct JACK THE GIANT KILLER. Regardless, the latter sounds like an interesting project and is set to film this July.
JACK THE GIANT KILLER (a remake of the 1962 film of the same name) is the story of a young farmer who must go kill a group of giants to save a princess. The film will be shot in London and Iceland.
Every time Bryan Singer steps out of his shell, he brings a very interesting and different film. At one point, X-MEN was a departure from his usual dramatic fare, which gives high hopes for this film.
Are you guys excited about this film or would you rather have Singer helm X-MEN: FIRST CLASS?
