Kevin James is an actor whose films I don’t actively seek out because usually they are the definition of mediocre. To be fair, I have enjoyed him in movies where he isn’t the leading man. I really enjoyed him in HITCH, where he played a supporting role as one of Will Smith’s clients who couldn’t get a girlfriend. Maybe he can change my opinion, as he is joining Vince Vaughn in Ron Howard’s latest film.
The film is currently untitled, although it has been known as YOUR CHEATING HEART (according to IMDB). The film is the story of a man who discovers that his wife is having an affair, and he must decide what he will do with this discovery.
I’d really like to see what James can do in this film, and I hope Ron Howard can bring the best out of him. Ron Howard’s films have been pretty hit-or-miss for a while, but it is hard to doubt the guy who made FROST/NIXON just two years ago.
