Peter Dinklage is a talented actor who has wowed us repeatedly with outstanding performances, like in THE STATION AGENT. Although Dinklage isn’t well-known for playing medieval-style characters, he did appear in THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN as Trumpkin. But now it looks like he is returning to that setting, and will be one of THE KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM.

“A huge group of dedicated, costumed LARP-ers (Live Action Role-Players), dressed like knights, elves & various characters, give up their cell phones and take to the woods for the Central New Jersey Knights of Badassdom Adventure Society, where they are set to re-enact a dungeons and dragons scenario right out of the mythical Middle Ages. But when a make-believe wizard casts a spell from an ancient book bought on eBay, fantasy becomes reality as an actual demon manifests itself with a taste for blood and souls. Do these pretend warriors have the real courage to stand up and fight to save themselves and the rest of humanity?”
I think this sounds like such a fun movie, and reminds me a lot of the LARP scenes from ROLE MODELS. If they can capture the same feeling of those ROLE MODELS scenes in BADASSDOM, then I think this could be really great. The film is penned by Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall, and is their debut feature release.
