Marcia Gay Harden is often regarded as a very good actress and has appeared in many great movies. Most likely you’ve seen her in something since she was put into the mainstream. Her next film is on the way, and Aiden Quinn and Leonor Watling will be joining her.
IF I WERE YOU is a comedic drama about two women who come from bad situations who become friends to help each other improve their lives. The film was written by Joan Carr-Wiggins, who previously wrote and directed A PREVIOUS ENGAGEMENT starring Juliet Stevenson.
Marcia Gay Harden is such a great actress, and I have been following her career since I first really recognized her in INTO THE WILD. Her being in this film is enough to convince me to see it. Hopefully it isn’t some generic dramatic comedy like THE WOMEN, and something special instead.
