Clark Gregg will S.H.I.E.L.D. up for THOR

One of the best things about the first IRON MAN movie were the references to the Marvel universe. It would even catch me off guard at times because I’m used to the movies being so disconnected. So whenever Clark Gregg’s character Agent Coulson said he was with the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, I didn’t realize he was with S.H.I.E.L.D.. Their main purpose is to deal with superhuman threats.

Now it looks like Gregg will not only reprise his role in IRON MAN 2, but Agent Coulson will even appear in THOR. He will appear next to Samuel L. Jackson’s version of Nick Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I can’t wait to see Gregg back in the role, and I think it is a very smart decision to put him in THOR. Marvel is realizing that fans really like the crossover, and it works every time. I have a sneaking suspicion Gregg will probably also show up as Coulson in THE AVENGERS. Good job Marvel, good job.
