AVATAR in IMAX is being talked up as one of the greatest film experiences one can have. People have flocked to theaters to see the film in IMAX. This latest news is proof of how much people want to see it IMAX, and how many have. AVATAR has grossed over $100 million in IMAX box office returns alone.
So far, the film has brought in $68 million in just North American IMAX sales, and $33 million in foreign theaters. If you thought that was amazing, lets see how much it ends up making. AVATAR is slated to run on IMAX screens for another 7 weeks.
This is pretty amazing, I’m really glad that a deserving movie is going on to break all these records. And to think, I doubted this movie a little bit following its release. We’ll see where its final box office take ends, and I have a feeling that it’ll sink the TITANIC.
