HBO has always been ahead of the curve, and time after time they have brought us quality television shows. Not to mention the countless Emmy Awards their programming as been nominated for. Now they have turned to two heavy hitters to bring them another show.
HBO has picked up a series that is to be executive produced by Michael Mann (PUBLIC ENEMIES, THE INSIDER) and David Milch (“Deadwood”), titled “Luck.” It will focus on the lives of people involved with a racetrack and gambling. Milch previously created “Deadwood” for HBO, which went on to be a success and an Emmy winner.
This project seems pretty interesting, and seems like a good fit for HBO. With Milch being involved, I feel very confident that the show will be creative and different. My only fear with this project is that I hope they steer away from the visual style Mann has used with his last two pictures. I just have a feeling that the video style Mann used for PUBLIC ENEMIES and MIAMI VICE would look out of place in this series.

Paris Hilton needs to take a good, long, hard look at herself and the world around her…Most people would give anything to have even a 10th of what she has and she doesn’t appreciate that at all.
