I can’t even explain how excited I am for THE LAST AIRBENDER. I honestly never thought I would be excited about anything related to M. Night Shyamalan after his long string of awful films. Regardless, it is his writing that I have problems with, not his very well-planned and executed directing.
THE LAST AIRBENDER is still a while away, but they are trying to get its large fanbase excited for the film. And that’s why they have released this most recent set of pictures that will be in an upcoming issue of Empire. You can check out the other two photos after the jump!
THE LAST AIRBENDER is a film adaptation of the hit cartoon series that ran for three seasons on Nickelodeon. The series follows Aang, a young Airbender who discovers he is the mythical Avatar. The Avatar is the one person who can control all four of the elements (Air, Earth, Fire, and Water).
I adore the cartoon and I strongly suggest everyone check it out before the film version is released. THE LAST AIRBENDER hits theaters July 2nd, 2010.
