After Disney’s triumphant return to traditional animation with THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, it is a little surprising to see them make another computer-generated feature. At the same time, this new image shows us that they are trying to capture the classic Disney look and feel, something that CG films like CHICKEN LITTLE have been missing.
This full magazine spread is gorgeous and gives us a better idea as to what RAPUNZEL will look like. You can see the rest of the image after the jump!

This picture gets me really excited for the movie; it’s such a clever image. They easily could have gone the traditional route, with the Prince climbing up the side of the tower grasping on to Rapunzel’s hair. But as the image shows, she has the Prince tied down with her hair.
Rapunzel is being voiced by Mandy Moore, and the Prince is being voiced by Zachary Levi of “Chuck” fame. RAPUNZEL is set to be released November 24th, 2010.

There's no way I could be more excited about this without exploding. Although some of the original concept art I used to look at over on Jim Hill Media for this movie was stunning.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited too. It is nice to see them do something different, but still familiar at the same time.
