TEKKEN was probably one of the first Playstation games I owned. I used to always have my friends over to play, and we would have bracketed tournaments. And,just like every great video game series, a movie version of TEKKEN is being soon-to-be-released.
Most video game movies make fans sigh and wonder why Hollywood bothered (STREET FIGHTER), others make fans jump with excitement because they look so good (PRINCE OF PERSIA). Nobody knows with TEKKEN, though, because we don’t know much about it. TEKKEN is set for release in Japan in March 6th, 2010 by Warner Bros., but this poster might create some buzz in the states. Firstly, I am not a film critic. With that being said, I think overall Tekken seemed to be pretty decent. I went to the theater with my brother a while back so we each enjoyed it. Both of us like action movies and this was without doubt all that and more. If your not really a big fan of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, then you may consider watching for it to be released on DVD.
