New IRON MAN 2 viral is in print

IRON MAN 2 cut

A lot of details are starting to come out about IRON MAN 2 in preparation for the film’s May 7th release date. The marketing team has been releasing a lot of posters lately; first they released one revealing War Machine, and then they released one focused on Whiplash. Now, it looks like the viral campaign for the film is in full force. It looks to me like they are trying to capitalize on Whiplash’s obsession with Stark, because the clipping above looks a lot like the backdrop of the Whiplash poster.

The picture doesn’t give away much, but that is how viral campaigns like this always start. The top part is just a recap of Tony’s speech he gave when he got back from Afghanistan. I don’t think that is the important part of the picture, though. I think the “Walking on Air” photograph is going to be further represented in the campaign. I cannot figure out what the picture could mean, but I’m certainly interested.

Joe Quesada, who is the current editor-in-chief at Marvel even put out a tweet about this campaign, which means there is probably something good in there. I can’t wait to see what crazy stuff is in store for us with this campaign.

What do you guys think all this means? Let us know in the comment section!
